Been Pretty Busy Around Here Lately
I've been doing several "Alchemy" orders from Etsy lately. That is custom orders that I bid on through Etsy's custom list of requests from shoppers. I just finished a group of Cute Signs for Brittany. She has a Swim School in Michigan. And, I even made a pair of Cat's Pajamas for a client who's cat licked her fur so much she needed a barrier. I made them in hot pink lycra/ cotton with a little touch of art. Sooo Cute! I have several orders lined up, including a reorder for Brittany, (Thanks Girl!) and some customs from around here as well. I just delivered three portraits and a monogram for one of my old fav clients in Birmingham! I have more to work on for this weekend so I better get to work. Oh yes, I just sold my "FishSticks" painting tonight! One of my personal Fav's. Hope they Love it! Come look at my Etsy Shop! Cute Stuff!

So I joined Twitter months ago. I haven't done much with it because I thought, what's the point? I don't really get the hysteria over it. But, I have been "tweeting" more lately. I've made some connections to others in my interest area. We'll see. Check out YelliKelli over at Twitter and leave me a Tweet!

Thinking about Supplies...What Do You All Think?
I've had an Etsy shop for almost a year, selling my art & clothing designs. I've been on Ebay and Lollishops for a few momths as well. Lately I've been thinking about opening another Etsy shop to sell some supplies. I love old paper and other ephemera I find and I've seen alot of shops doing well with it. I would like to find neat thrift stuff that could be used for crafting, etc. so I thought this might be a good recycling idea. Hey! comment here if you do this, or are into using recycled stuff in crafting. I'll let you guys know when my new/ old shop opens! Here is something I stumbled across this week... I thought it would be neat collage stuff.

I Don't Cook Much But....
I made up this recipe! I was tired of the same old thing at the grocery store, so I tried this idea. Here's the recipe if you want to try it!
I don't really measure, but this is enough for two.
You will need...
Cooked Spaghetti noodles (about 2-3 servings)
Cherry Tomatoes (I used organic)1/2 container
Fresh Zucchini (one)
Olive Oil couple of tbls.
Fresh Garlic, 1 clove
Fresh Feta Cheese (a sprinkle)
Roasted Sunflower Seeds (a sprinkle)
After cooking & draining the noodles, set aside.
In a medium pan, saute the fresh, crushed garlic in hot Olive Oil.
Add chopped zucchini, cook until tender.
Add tomatoes. Cook about 1-2 minutes.
Add the cooked noodles, toss to mix.
Place a helping onto a plate, sprinkle with feta cheese and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds!
Serve.
My DD & I voted it pretty good! A nice veggie change of pace.
If you try this, be sure to leave me a comment!
