Sea Life Embroidered Pillow Just Listed!

This is my newest design in my Etsy shop! I freehand stitched this Sea Life pillow with my vintage wool yarn. The pillow is burlap and a soft neutral backing. I did my fun mermaid, a pink crab, bright fish, seahorse, and starfish! I hand dyed my favorite burlap a pale aqua. And I added LOTS of french knots for great texture! This is a one of a kind design, ready to ship! See it HERE.

Well, This time the Oscar goes to...Oscar! This is the latest in my custom embroidered pillows. Oscar is a cute Shih Tzu Poodle mix, and his mom had me make this little mini in his honor!

New Etsy Order Just Completed

I just finished these little Embroidered monogram pillows along with these other items for a dear Etsy customer. The monograms are for sisters, one loves blue and her yellow lab, and the other loves pink and her Lamb Lovie. I just love my freehand embroidery! I haven't been stitching as much lately because I am doing so many paintings and clothing sets, but it is so relaxing! I am going to work on some new designs over the weekend!

Right Here! This is my newest wool embroidered pillow I just listed on Etsy! I am offering this as a custom for any name! It has little glass beads for sparkle too! I sold two of my embroidered pillows yesterday! I am so excited, since this makes me feel like this new line could be worthwhile after all!

Hey, What's New?

My latest obsession is searching for Vintage Wool Yarn, crewel or tapestry, to use in my newest project....Freehand Silly Stitching! I have always loved crewel, we had those flowery kits in the 70's. And, my first professional work was to design a handknit sweater line which I sold through boutiques for over a decade. But my sweaters were cotton. I am from the south, and we just don't do wool sweaters! I have always loved the feel of wool yarn though. So, I have been working on some cute freehand designs lately. I have stitched these on burlap. I LOVE the way Burlap smells!
The little pillow is the first I've listed on Etsy. My Sweet Hedgehog mini is in my shop right now! (click link on right)
Not being one to follow charts and graphs, I had rather freehand stitch on a whim however I like.
