Mardi Gras Custom Order

Spring Has Sprung...Halleluliah...Spring At Last!!!!!!!!!
Seems our little town has burst open in the last day or so with blooming trees! On our daily ride to and from school, my daughter and I enjoy seeing all of the fluffy white pear trees, and the occasional PINK one! This is a delightful time of year!
And it is over so fast! These blooms only last a few days...but then....GREEN!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!!

You Need a Yink...I Think! Wink...Wink!
This is a costume I just finished for our local Elementary School's spring program. They are doing the "Seussical" musical. My client (also one of my Diva Do's students) wanted me to just choose something for her character...and I picked the YINK that Winks and drinks Pink Ink!
Too cute! I based the design on the book illustration, but took some liberties. I made it a girl YINK, and made the body of my yellow stretch jersey with faux fur, in pink of course, as trim for arms, legs, neck, hair....etc. I made a headband with the tiered fluffs, and a fur hair holder.
The tail is long, so I added an elastic loop to the tip so she can slip it on her wrist to keep it out of the way.
The cutest part is the "SD" bottle upcycled into a PINK INK jug with a soft "straw".
Darling! I know Mary Crawford will be the cutest one!
